SS2013 in store now!

So I know it's been a while but mostly because my computer crashed months ago, so now that I have one again I can start posting some fun things for you.

We're gonna start catching you up on what I have in store for Spring 2013, we're in production and adding pieces weekly!

The Revolution top White and Stripes (75$) this t-shirt is not only beautiful and comfortable, it's probably the piece your gonna wear the most. It's an amazing basic with a twist!

The Wild Honey cardigan (115$), I've been wearing this piece all winter and will go perfectly with all my maxi dresses on a cool winter night!

The Country Air top in sky and emerald (65$). Last fall when I was designing this collection, I fell in love with this vintage knit. Because the top is tucked in to the new Best Friend skirt (above 95$) and the Hong Kong garden (below85$) You can't see the great finishing trim at the hem. You'll just have to come in...

The Good day sunshine dress (145$) is pretty awesome! Made of this lightweight printed viscose mesh, lined with the softest rayon jersey. You'll be wearing this one from now until next November!

The Sexy Sadie in sky and emerald (135$) I'm gonna tell you guys what you can't see in this picture that makes this dress awesome! The rayon jersey lining shapes in a sweet heart neckline (we've changed it since we took the picture), the back is low but high enough to wear a bra and it's so flattering even I can wear it!

The Route 66 in grass above and snake below (165$). Every time someone tries on this dress I fall more in more in love with it! I don't even know which one I love most! These are so pretty you can wear them to a formal evening with heels, great chandelier earring and a fabulous ring. But I know I will be wearing this one all summer with my sandals!

Casual

A lot of girls think of Lustre as a dress shop and even though that was true for the first couple of years, I know really try to focus on offering some easy every day pieces. Here are a few simple and fun pieces I've added to the shop this week.

The Universal sweater is a wool blend cropped sweater in the most beautiful forest green. (75$)
The Heart of glass top is super cute and works with everything. I know I'll be wearing it with my Best Friend skirt and my Satisfaction shorts all fall long (65$)
This is another Universal sweater, this one is made of the most comfortable cotton blend knit(75$). I also added the Goodbye Girl pants to the shop today, this pant is in a lightweight fabric and is super comfortable and practical for the last couple months of summer. The cut is also amazing, I'm definitely wearing them tomorrow, it's a true classic trouser. Plus depending of the size you can choose to wear them loose or more tapered.  (115$)

New Stock!

So I know it's still early but we've been working like little bees getting the back to school collection ready. I was hesitating bringing them in store this soon, but they're ready and I was so excited to show you some of my new styles!

This season, we're trying something new, most of  our styles will be limited, with only 2 to 4 of each style will be made in each size and if you're someone that needs custom pieces, I would need to know sooner then later.

The English Rose dress is a perfect transition dress, it's a light cotton blend knit and has a lower back. Because of the scoop, you can also wear it backwards and have a scooped neckline in the front. (85$)
The Made of Stone dress is also a cotton jersey with a 3d affect. This bodycon knee length  dress hugs all of your curves (or creates some if you don't have any) but doesn't show any bumps. (115$)
The Disco 2000 dress is a wool blend dress with a scooped back. It doesn't get any more classic then this. Well, I also have it in a gray-white-black plaid tweed. Now that's pretty classic.... Also just a little note, we did lengthen this dress by 10cm for production, cause most of us need to sit in it. (135$)
I've already been secretly rocking the Artschool dress for a couple of weeks now! I Love it!!! and now that it's in the shop, I'm so excited that I can wear it to work. Actually, I'm gonna wear it tomorrow! 125$
Most of you guys have already fallen in love with the Lovecats dress so I really don't have much to say except we also have it in a black and white print (120$)

Also all of our Lustre classics and graphic tees will be on sale for another week! All skirts, shorts and pants are 75$ and all tops 45$. Last call for those!

Hope to see you guys soon, and would love some feedback on what you think of the new styles!

xoxo

Some of my favorite pieces on sale!

Even though we still have 3 months of summer weather, in the retail world, its time for us to start liquidating our summer stock in preparations to the back to school collections. Here are a few of the pieces I own and can't get enough of!

The Maggie's Farm top (now 45$) has been in my regular rotation since March. Even then, it made me seem a little tanned. We also have it in a coral knit, that I've been regularly pairing up with the satisfaction shorts (below) or my black Best Friend skirt. Actually, that's what I wore on CNN the other day. The Best Friend skirt fits so well, especially with the new flat front pockets, that we've decided to keep it in production as one of our Lustre staples, so they're on sale for a limited time at 75$
The Satisfaction shorts (now 75$) are my version of shorts, they look like a skirt hahahahaha. Since I can remember, I've had a difficult time with shorts. Even as a kid, I avoided them! It even took me about a week to get comfortable wearing these cause they're not a skirt. But now that I have, I LOVE LOVE LOVE them, so much that we'll be continuing them into the fall!
Last, but not least the Misguided Angel (now between 55-75) because we have 2 lengths.  Earlier in the season I always wore this piece belted but now with the extreme humidity, it's my go to mou-mou. no belt just a beautiful draping square!

Come by and check out all the deals we have going on, before we start rearranging everything for some new stock!

Zink Editorial

Here is a little editorial styled by one of my old employees Joelle Paquette. Joelle studied fashion design and has an amazing eye. That's why when she told me she had the chance to style for Zink U.S. I was so excited to see the results. Best thing about the shoot is that she used mostly Montreal designers and introduced them to an American market! (including Lustre)

Here are the Lustre pieces on the right, there's the 1979 pants coming out in August and the Love Craft dress that's on sale for 95$.
